CU and CES saw declines in trade in 2013
SAINT PETERSBURG. January 20. KAZINFORM Members of the Customs Union (СU) and the Common Economic Space (CES) reduced mutual trade volumes by 5.9%, foreign trade with the third countries by 0.7% during January-November 2013.
Foreign trade of the CU and CES states with the third countries for January-November last year reached USD 844.6 bln, including export up to USD 531.9 bln, import up to USD 312.7 bln, the Eurasian Economic Commission's press release reads. As compared to the analogous period of 2012 the foreign trade volumes dropped by 0.7% or USD 5.7 bln. The same time the volumes of mutual trade of the CU and CES countries hit USD 58.2 bln last year that is 94.1% to the same period of 2012. Lowering of the mutual trade volumes is stipulated by Russia's substantial oil supplies reduction to Belarus, the message reads.
