CSTO to help Tajikistan to strengthen border with Afghanistan

BAKU. August 29. KAZINFORM The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will prepare special documents aimed at providing Tajikistan with support on border fortifying for the organization's summit that will be held in September, Avesta.tj reported on Wednesday.
Reportedly CSTO experts arrived in Tajikistan to get familiar with the situation on borders with Afghanistan.
The aim of border fortifying is to minimize the consequences of NATO forces' withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014, Kazinform refers to trend.az.
Reportedly Tajik border service lacks modern technical equipment and uniforms.
