CSTO Sec Gen N. Bordyuzha: Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship - one of most effective, interesting and creative events in OSCE history
ALMATY. April 23. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Kazakhstan is one of the key players within the Collective Security Treaty Organization by virtue of high authority of its leader and readiness of the country to host or organize the events within the CSTO. Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha said it at the roundtable on Central Asia's security in Almaty today.
N. Bordyuzha drew the participants' attention to good background of the apparatus of the Security Council, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan. He emphasized their initiatives and remarks on the documents they develop. "I think Kazakhstan is very active and, the most important thing is that it significantly contributes to promotion of many projects. The country realizes its responsibility within the CSTO, but this year its major challenge is chairmanship in the OSCE. In this connection the Head of the State is set huge work. Kazakhstan's OSCE chairmanship is one of the most effective, interesting and creative events in the OSCE history", the CSTO Sec Gen noted.
