Crucial to rely upon start-up companies when realizing the industrial innovation program
ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "We have to rely upon start-up companies when realizing the Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Program," President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated taking the floor at today's forum "Let us build strong Kazakhstan together!"
"Kazakhstan's industry should compete with the countries of the Customs Union and after the WTO accession with the industries of the developed countries. That's why we set the task to rank among the most innovation-driven economies by 2020. Implementing the Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Program we have to lean on innovations and start-up companies.
Those 152 facilities pit into service under the Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Program provided 2 out of 7% of GDP growth in 2010. The share of the new industrial enterprises is expected to hit this year 2.6%," the President said.
