Creative hub opens in N Kazakhstan

The Qyzyljar Creative Center opened in Petropavlovsk on the eve of the Republic Day of Kazakhstan pursuant to the President’s task to develop creative industries in large cities, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry.

The creative center is a part of the national ecosystem with an integrated infrastructure and integrated support tools. It is opened at the ground of the North Kazakhstan Regional Kazakh Music and Drama Theatre named after Sabit Mukanov. The building was reconstructed with its historic value preserved.

It covers 2,000 square meters and is divided in 9 theme areas. The key directions of the center are digital and information technologies, media and digital, production of content and fashion industry, choreography and education. It boasts necessary digital and creative conditions.

There are 9 creative hubs countrywide.

The project is developed by the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry and North Kazakhstan akimat with the support of Samruk Kazyna Trust Fund.

As reported before, East Kazakhstan is to evolve into a medical tourism hub.
