VIENNA. March 3. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ Creation of mutual trust climate is a key factor of the process of effective regulation of the Transnistrian conflict. The direct talks which helped solve the most urgent issues of both sides' civilians laid a foundation for continuation of the negotiation process. Personal Envoy of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for Protracted Conflicts Bolat Nurgaliyev said it at the first 5+2 meeting in 2010 in Vienna on March 2.
The negotiations regarding the Transnistrian conflict in 5+2 format include the representatives of Moldova and Transnistria, intermediary countries - Russia, Ukraine, the OSCE, as well as observer states - the USA and the EU.
As B. Nurgaliyev noted, the 5+2 meeting in Vienna focused on drafting a working plan for the next year which aims at ensuring more efficient negotiations on the Transnistrian conflict for achieving its major goal - development of a comprehensive political decision suiting both sides.
Following the meeting the participants of the negotiations unanimously expressed support to Kazakhstan's initiative to hold the next 5+2 meeting in Astana in May which was voiced by K. Saudabayev, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
