Coop treaty between Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and Portugal signed in Almaty
ALMATY. July 16. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ OSCE Chairman-in-office, Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev has held a meeting with Portuguese Foreign Minister Luis Amado within the informal meeting of the OSCE Foreign Ministers today in Almaty.
Kazakhstan and Portugal signed the Agreement on exemption holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements. Besides, the sides signed the Memorandum on cooperation between the Foreign Ministries of Kazakhstan and Portugal.
'This is my first visit to Kazakhstan. We support the initiative of Kazakhstan to hold the OSCE Summit. I hope that it is to happen while your presidency in the Organization. We look forward to strengthening our relations and signed today agreements prove it. We are determined to build strong partnership between Kazakhstan and Portugal', L. Amado said.
