"The Convention on International Access to Justice was signed at the Hague in 1980. It is worth mentioning that nationals of any contracting state are entitled to legal aid for court proceedings in civil and commercial matters in each contracting state on the same condition as if they are nations of that state," said Minister of Justice Berik Imashev introducing the bill. According to Minister Imashev, the Convention on International Access to Justice is connected with the Convention on civil procedure signed at the Hague in 1954.
