Construction workers rescue panda stuck on hill

ASTANA. September 21. KAZINFORM Workers constructing a road in Baoxing county, Sichuan province, rescued a panda trapped on a nearby hill last Saturday, Kazinform refers to China Daily.
According to the workers, they spotted the panda, a rare and endangered species found only in China, struggling to find a way down from the top of a hill.
The panda attacked and injured one of the workers , who was involved in the rescue.
Experts at the local wild animal protection center said the panda was about 3 years old and weighed a healthy 35 kg, Kazinform cites China Daily. See www.chinadaily.com.cn for full version.
