Construction of Yertis Hydrometallurgical Plant starts in Pavlodar
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received today Vitaly Nesis, Chief Executive Officer of Solidcore Resources plc, reports Kazinform News Agency citing the press service of Akorda.
The President was informed about the results of activity of one of the largest companies specializing in exploration, mining and processing of precious and non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan as well as future plans. According to Vitaly Nesis, Solidcore Resources plc started implementing the project of construction of Yertis Hydrometallurgical Plant in Pavlodar with a projected capacity of 300,000 tons of concentrate per annum. The company plans to produce Dore gold bars of 98% Purity.
Vitaly Nesis also told President Tokayev about the plans of construction of a geological laboratory in Karaganda.
Upon completion of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the relevance of efforts taken by the company to train engineering personnel for the country’s industrial sector.
