Construction of petrochemical complex in Atyrau to be started in Feb, 2011

ASTANA. April 12. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Construction of a petrochemical complex in Atyrau is planned to be started in February, 2011. Vice Minister of Oil and Gas Asset Magauov has announced at the Government's telephone conference today.
"All issues with financing are solved, and we have no problems", he informed.
The Vice Minister reminded that the project implementation is divided into two phases: polypropylene and polyethylene lines. The Memorandum of mutual understanding on the first phase financing was signed on December 12, 2009.
"Over 20 foreign specialists were attracted", A.Magauov emphasized.
