Construction of 25 housing estates with 4.600 home owners completed in Astana and Almaty - B.Sultanov
ASTANA. October 20. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ KZT 95 bln was allocated for completion of housing facilities from the budget in 2007-2008. Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov has announced it at the Government's session on the results of nine months of 2009.
According to him, at present construction of 25 residential estates with 4.600 home owners were completed, work on 12 housing estates with 11.000 home owners are under continuation in Astana and Almaty cities.
The Astana akimat bought 10.500 flats amounting to KZT 40.9 bln in the projects under construction. The SamrukKazyna Fund financed 13 facilities of uncompleted construction with participation of 5.200 home investors to the amount KZT 17 bln. The Real Estate Fund began financing of 23 facilities of uncompleted construction with 8.600 housing investors amounting to over KZT 105 bln.
"Big role played the program on mortgage loans refinancing, within the framework of which 31.200 borrowers amounting to KZT 120.2 bln were refinanced. These measures allowed to ensure stability in the real estate market and suspend the fall in the construction sector", B.Sultanov said.
