Constitutional initiatives of Kazakh President – factor of further development of democracy: Z.Tuimebayev
ASTANA. August 28. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ The republican scientific-practical conference "Constitutional initiatives of the President - factor of further development of the democracy" organized by the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science has been started in Astana today.
Outstanding state and public figures of the country, deputies of the Kazakh Parliament, scientists, academicians and lawyers, educators of the leading educational institutions of the country take part in the conference.
The participants of the conference will discuss theoretical and practical aspects of the development of the civil society, prospects for formation of competitive political system and the role of the Constitution in this process.
Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev opened the plenary session of the conference. He complimented the contribution of the Head of the State to the formation of the bases of democratic society and provision of the supremacy of the Main Law of the country. Professor of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University Gairat Sapargaliyev and member of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan Ilyas Bakhtybayev delivered speeches as well. They complemented the role of the President in the modernization of the constitutional legislation of Kazakhstan.
