Compressor gas station explodes on TransSib killing one person

ULAN-UDE. January 24. KAZINFORM A compressor gas fuelling station, located in the village of Onokhoy has exploded on the Trans-Siberian railway (TransSib). According to preliminary reports, one person was killed, and one rushed to the Zaigrayevsky district hospital, Buryatia law enforcement bodies told Itar-Tass; Kaznform refers to Itar-Tass.
The explosion, causes a fire on an area of 150 square metres. A fire-fighting train was dispatched at 06:21 MSK to the site of the incident.
Response teams of the Zaigrayevsky emergencies garrison, district police officers, workers of the municipality have been working at the explosion site. The efforts involved 41 people and 16 machinery units.
