Companies with women in key positions achieve better results -Malaysia Premier's spouse
ASTANA. June 19. KAZINFORM - Companies in which there are more women in key positions achieve better results. This has been stated by the spouse of the Prime Minister of Malaysia Datin Paduka Seri Rosma Mansor at the Kazakh-Malaysian forum titled "Prospects for the development of women's entrepreneurship", which is being held in "Radisson" hotel.
"Why do we speak today about overcoming barriers? Why do women show very good results in education and achieve more than men, but we do not have the kind of progress at a very high level of decision-making in public and private organizations, and in almost all sectors of the economy? ", wondered the wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
According to her, only 8.7 percent of the executive heads of 195 countries are women. Only 20 percent of the seats in parliament are given to women. Approximately the same situation one may witness in private structures.
As beleived by Datin Paduka Seri Rosma Mansor, the reason for this is lack of supporting conditions for women. As a result, remains unexercised potential of women in all spheres.
Wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia pointed out that, according to recent research, the company, which employs many women achieve better results in their best financial performance. This is due to the fact that where there are conditions for progress of women, there appear more opportunities for creative, imaginative, and innovative work.
