Commodity turnover between Pavlodar region and EU states made $257mln

PAVLODAR REGION. February 25. KAZINFORM. /Vera Livintsova/ The share of Pavlodar region in the overall volume of external trade with the European Union countries increased by 1.5% and made USD 257 million last year; the regional akimat's press service told Kazinform.

More than half of turnover falls on Germany, i.e. about USD 123 million. Export items are ferroalloys, aluminum, copper and waste of ferrous metals. Import items are industrial equipment, vehicles, electrical equipment, medicines and books.

The commodity circulation with Italy made USD 43 million, including import of Industrial and laboratory equipment, metals and plastics, and export of cattle hides.

Copper alloys and coal were exported to Poland. Chemical products, refrigeration equipment and cosmetics were imported to Pavlodar oblast. The volume of turnover amounted to USD 21 million.

The trade with France, Britain and Spain is realized only through import.
