Commission on Combating Corruption under the President held first session
ASTANA. February 12. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ First session of the Kazakh Commission on Combating Corruption under the President has been held today in Astana under the chairmanship of Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev.
Opening the session K.Saudabayev noted that upon the results of the last year the realization of the Strategy of the Head of the State on further improvement of the anti-corruption activities in all state bodies was promoted essentially.
Besides, the State Secretary laid emphasis on the fact that the President in his Address to the nation paid attention to the issue of further increase of effectiveness of the activity of law-enforcement authorities.
"This refers to the activity of our Commission as well. In this regard, opening the first sitting of the Commission I would like to note that our work must be conducted within the context of realization of the President's instructions", K.Saudabayev said.
The Kazakh Minister also noted that Kazakhstan chairs the OSCE this year. This fact is a recognition and unbiased estimate of impressing successes in the socio-economic and political development of the country as well as a great responsibility in further provision of right and freedoms of our citizens.
The Secretary of State introduced new members of the Commission - Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Civil Service Affairs Kairat Nurpeisov and Chairman of the National Security Committee Adil Shayakhmetov.
