Commission on Awarding State Prize in Science and Engineering held session in Astana
ANA. September 17. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A regular session of the Commission for Awarding State Prize in Science and Engineering chaired by Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev has taken place in Akorda today.
Three works were submitted for consideration of the Commission as 'The Fundamental Research in Nuclear and Radiation Physics of the Kazakh National Nuclear Center and Creation of Nuclear and Radiation Technology on their Basis'; 'The Mineragenetics and Prospects of Development for Mineral Recourses of Kazakhstan'; 'Automorphisms and Subalgebra of Free Algebra'. The given works were elected by the Kazakh Minister of Education and Science out of 16 proposed for the prize.
The awarding ceremony will be held on the eve of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan. According to the regulations, the State Prize is awarded by the Kazakh President and is the highest recognition of merits of the Kazakhstani scientists before the society and state.
