Cold start of cement plant in Zhambyl region completed within teleconference with President
ZHAMBYL REGION. June 28. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ A cold starts has been completed at the cement plant in Mynaral of Moiynkum district today within the teleconference with participation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Governor of Zhambyl region Kanat Bozumbayev said that the President of the country got acquainted with representatives of French construction company "Vicat Group" and invited to work in our country two years ago.
"The company together with the International Finance Corporation and local investors started construction of the cement plant that would be the biggest enterprise of the construction industry of Kazakhstan", the Governor said.
K.Bozumbayev has noted that the first lot of clinkers is to be produced in two months. "The cement of the Mynaral plant will be used in construction of "West Europe - West China" road and in construction of the Balkhash Thermal Power Station", K.Bozumbayev said. He also noted that two investment projects have been already launched in the region.
Nine investment projects in the field of metallurgy, light industry, oil refinery, production of construction materials are implemented in the region this year. The total cost of the projects is up to KZT 62 bln. Four thousand jobs will be created.
