Cloud Computing Center launched in Xinjiang

BEIJING. January 8. KAZINFORM The new Cloud Computing Center has opened its doors in the northwest China, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region.

As the local authorities said, the new supercomputing center is the key step in setting up the regional information center for Central Asia. Xinjiang has infused USD 4.9 bln into the development of cloud computing in the region since 2011. The local authorities plan to create in Xinjiang the largest data center throughout the west China to make annually products up to USD 3.5 bln in the 10 years ahead.
