Close coop of interested structures necessary for IT industry development - int'l conference in Almaty
ALMATY. January 28. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ The main goal of the Alatau IT City Information Technology Park is promotion of the Kazakh IT industry development. There exists a necessity of a close unity of various structures directed to dynamic development of IT industry in Kazakhstan, strengthening cooperation between education and the economy's real sector. Director General of Alatau IT City Mailybek Kussenov has announced it at the first international conference "Improvement of quality of IT teaching in universities: ways and opportunities".
According to him, improvement of IT teaching quality in universities is a priority in the higher education sphere. "There is a deficit of IT specialists in the park. The specialists are of primary importance for forced promotion of the program of the industrial and innovation development. This conference is the first step in its implementation", M.Kussenov noted.
"We expect that the international IT university in Almaty will be a center of this industry development in the country. Laboratories will be created on the basis of the university with participation of world leaders in this field. In six-seven years over 1,000 specialists will graduate the university with certificates that are recognized worldwide", Deputy Chairman of the Board of Zerde Holding Iskander Aliyev said.
The organizers of the confernce are the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Industry and Trade, «Engineering and Technology Transfer Center» JSC and etc.
