Clinton to attend Kabul conference

ASTNA. July 15. KAZINFORM US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will be in Kabul July 20 to attend an international conference on the development of Afghanistan, the State Department said Wednesday, Kazinform refers to Trend News.

The conference, co-chaired by the United Nations, is an opportunity for the Afghan government to outline its future plans for development, governing and security, as well as enhancing social services.

The meeting is meant to allow countries to determine who can best help Afghanistan emerge from decades of war.
