Civil service departments of Turkey and Kazakhstan to strengthen cooperation
ISTANBUL. December 19. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan delegation visited Ankara in order to exchange experience and learn from the civil service system of the Turkish Republic.
Head of the delegation, Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs Alikhan Baimenov, met with the head of the Office for Civil Servants Mehmet Kumbuzoglu, during which both sides expressed interest in further deepening of bilateral relations in the public service of our two countries . With special warmth there was marked the result of the existing level of cooperation, in which the special role is given to the signing of bilateral documents on cooperation between the departments of Kazakhstan and Turkey.
The sides emphasized the work of the regional hub for the public service, which was established in March 2013 in Astana during the inaugural conference, and also found the logical continuation during the Global Conference on the Public Service, which was organized by the Agency for Civil service of Kazakhstan and the UN Development Programme in May 2013, at the VI Astana Economic Forum.
Mr.Kumbuzoglu spoke about the civil service system in Turkey, announced the practical examples of its formation and development, measures to improve the quality of public services to the population and other issues associated with the presence of people in the public service in the Turkish Republic. He also explained in detail the structure of the civil service system of the country and monitoring system concerning the quality of civil servants services.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to strengthen the cooperation between public service agencies of our two countries and to continue collaboration within the regional hub.
