Civil Alliance suggests to build electric vehicles filling stations along «Western Europe-Western China» highway

ASTANA. January 20. KAZINFORM - The Coalition for "green" economy and the development of G-Global proposes to develop and implement a set of measures to make an international auto corridor "Western Europe - Western China" a "green" Silk Road, said the coalition's chair and vice president of the Civil Alliance of Kazakhstan Saltanat Rahimbekova.

"For example we can build car parks with solar panels where people can recharge electric vehicles. It is also important to produce biofuels of Euro-5 standard, especially for petrol stations along the corridor. These technologies are already exist. Third-generation biofuels from non-food raw materials can be made from industrial hemp", said S. Rahimbekova speaking at a briefing devoted to the implementation of President's Address «Kazakhstan's way - 2050: common goal, common interests, common future».

The Head of State said in his address that transport infrastructure is the circulatory system of our industrial economy and society. "I have repeatedly said that the developed country cannot exist without modern highways. Moreover, lines of communications are of high importance for Kazakhstan due to its great territory and geographical location", said the President of Kazakhstan.
