CIS Young parliamentarians agreed to hold Inter-Parliamentary Forum in 2014

ST-PETERSBURG. November 28. KAZINFORM - St. Petersburg has held the second session of the Youth Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states.

In the Tauride Palace young parliamentarians and leaders of youth organizations from eight CIS countries, including Kazakhstan, have discussed the prospects of promoting inter-parliamentary relations and legislative activity within the organization's space.

The parties agreed to expand the work on development of recommendations for the received regulatory legal acts in the field of socio-economic and socio-political processes of the CIS.

As explained after the meeting by Sevinzh Fataliyeva, the participants reviewed the preparations and conduct of activities for 2014.

"We identified a work plan for 2014. We plan to hold the third meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Youth and Youth Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the CIS countries. The conference will take place in Autumn of the next year", said S. Fataliyeva, Youth Coordinator of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, adding that the detailed format of the event will be determined at the next meeting of the CIS MMPA.

It bears to remind that on November 28-29 St. Petersburg hosts the meeting of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, the EurAsEC and the CSTO IPA. Within the framework of the inter-parliamentary talks there will be carried out an international conference on "Nuclear safety in the modern world. The role of parliamentarians in the process of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation". The event will bring together leaders of the CIS national Parliaments' Chambers.
