CIS potential not exhausted - Emomali Rahmon
SHANBE. September 3. KAZINFORM /Arnur Mukhametkarim/ Delivering a speech at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and Government in the narrow format, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon congratulated his colleagues on the 20th anniversary of the Commonwealth.
"I hope that it will open new pages in strengthening mutual confidence, good-neighborly relations, peace and security for the benefit of the peoples of our countries," the Tajik President said.
"I am confident that the Commonwealth potential is not exhausted and the Republic of Tajikistan is ready to move forward in the direction of development of integration ties between our countries," E.Rahmon noted.
"Dear the heads of state and delegations, I would like to announce the regular CIS Summit open," he stated.
