CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly to monitor referendum in Moldova and parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan
ST. PETERSBURG. August 17. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ A group of international observers from the CIS Inter- Parliamentary Assembly is to take part in two events till the end of the year. These are monitoring the preparation and conduct of the national constitutional referendum in Moldova and monitoring the preparation and holding of parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.
As the press-office of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly informs, the group of the Inter- Parliamentary Assembly will take part in supervision of the preparation and conduct of the national constitutional referendum that is to take place on September 5, 2010. The group is to work in there at the invitation of Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Moldova Eugenia Stirbu.
In Azerbaijan the group will be working at the invitation of Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Oktay Asadov to take part in monitoring the preparation and holding of parliamentary elections on November 7, 2010.
