CIS Foreign Ministers to discuss tourism action plan for 2015-2017 on 9 October
MINSK. KAZINFORM The CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will convene in Minsk on 9 October to discuss the action plan for 2015-2017 to implement the strategy of promoting tourism cooperation between CIS member states for the period till 2020, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The session of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers will take place in the National Library of Belarus. It will be chaired by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei. "Foreign ministers of the CIS member states will discuss documents that are to be submitted for consideration to the Heads of State Council," according to the press service. "Apart from that, the agenda of the meeting includes projects of the action plan in humanitarian cooperation of the CIS members for 2015-2016 and an action plan for 2015-2017 to implement the strategy of promoting tourism cooperation between CIS member states for period until 2020," the press release reads, BelTA reports.
The sides will discuss professional training in such areas as cinema, music, culture and art, museum studies, and theater.
On 10 October Minsk will host the session of the CIS Council of Heads of State. The agenda of the summit includes 17 draft documents aimed at the development of interstate cooperation in the humanitarian field and security.
