CIS experts to focus on cooperation in air defense
MINSK. October 5. KAZINFORM CIS experts will consider projects to develop the CIS joint air defense system and decide on the basis organization of air defense research in Minsk on 6-7 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
According to BelTA, the CIS joint air defense system has a crucial role. It is essential to strengthen and improve the air defense system of CIS countries. The project includes key ideas which were set forth by the CIS concept of military cooperation for 2015.
The project will be financed in line with the annual plan of sponsoring the development of the CIS joint air defense system, which is approved by the CIS council of heads of government.
The most important programs and projects will be implemented in line with the agreement of CIS countries. The CIS council of ministers will submit the plan of financing to the CIS council of heads of government.
The draft document will be considered by the CIS council of heads of state. The project will help develop the joint air defense system of CIS countries.
