CIS border troops commanders to meet in Brest on 20 November
MINSK. KAZINFORM - Brest will host a session of the CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders on 20 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
"The draft agenda for the session includes eight items such as the situation to the west of the border, its development trends, and the cooperation between the border security agencies of the CIS member states, the CIS bodies, international organizations, and the frontier services of the neighboring countries for ensuring border security," the Executive Committee noted.
The CIS Council of Border Troops Commanders will review its performance in 2014 and develop a plan of action for 2015. It will discuss the draft commentary to the model law on the state border and the protocol for cooperation with the CIS Coordinating Council of Heads of Tax (Financial) Investigation Agencies, BelTA reports.
Besides, the session will review the work on the glossary of terms used by the CIS countries in the field of border security.
