CIS Advisory Council on labor, migration and social protection of population opens in Astana
SAINT-PETERSBURG. June 24. KAZINFORM /Yelena Myagkova/ - The XXII session of the Advisory Council on labor, migration and social protection of the CIS population opens today in Astana. The main objective of the Council is assistance to form concerted policy and take measures for its implementation in the sphere of labor relations and social partnership, labor protection, interaction to resolve the problems of migration and employment, social protection of the population, the CIS Executive Committee press service said.
The participants of the session will consider a block of key questions, including issues of the elaboration of the draft Plan of measures for creation and perfection of the labor normative base for CIS member-countries in 2010-2014; formation of the interstate classifier of workman professions and servants positions; elaboration of the Concept of concerted social and demographic policy of the CIS member-states; creation of the system of information exchange about demands in labor resources on the national labor markets.
It is planned to determine the primary directions of collaboration between the CIS member-states in the sphere of social and labor relations for 2010-2014, to discuss the development of interstate relations in the sphere of pension provision of the population considering the changes in this sphere for the recent years in CIS.
