Chinese TV channel films documentary about Kazakhstan

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - China's CCTV 6 TV Channel has made a documentary about Kazakhstan, President of the National Tourism Association Gaukhar Zhenisbek announced at a press conference in Almaty on Thursday.

According to her, CCTV 6 shooting crew spent 15 days in Kazakhstan to film the documentary. The shooting took place on the Great Silk Road route. The documentary will consist of 5 episodes 20 minutes each. It will be dedicated to the international exhibition EXPO-2017, the Great Silk Road, and people of Kazakhstan. The documentary will premiere in 2015. "CCTV 6 TV Channel is accessible to more than 850 million viewers. We hope that tourist flow from China to Kazakhstan will double thanks to the documentary," Ms Zhenisbek added.
