Chinese dream in many respects echos Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy: Ambassador Le Yucheng
ASTANA. December 18. KAZINFORM "The Chinese Dream" largely coincides with the "Kazakhstan-2050" Development Strategy both in schedule and in content, Ambassador of China to Kazakhstan Le Yucheng believes.
On Wednesday, Ambassador Le Yucheng delivered a lecture themed "The third plenary session of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party of the 18th convocation and the new round of reforms and openness in China" at the Academy of Civil Service Affairs under the President of Kazakhstan in Astana.
In his words, the first stage of reforms in China is to be completed by 2021 - the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. China's GDP is expected to double by that time, according to Mr. Le Yucheng. The second stage will be finished by 2049.
"Kazakhstan has recently joined the club of the 50 most competitive countries of the world. As a good friend and ally of Kazakhstan, China rejoices in all your success," the Chinese diplomat added.
In his lecture, the Ambassador noted the Chinese production still holds a weak position in the international industrial chain, despite the fact that 20% of world output falls at China's share. In many cases Chinese enterprises get low profits. And the goal is to step up Chinese innovations.
