Chinese diplomatic mission to get land plot in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan will get a 3ha land plot in Astana where its new diplomatic mission building will be based.
Senate, the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, has approved the draft law "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual provision of land plots for construction of buildings for diplomatic missions" today. According to Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov, in line with the agreement, both the Chinese and Kazakh diplomatic missions will get land plots in Astana and Beijing respectively. The agreement was inked by Kazakhstan and China on September 7, 2013 in Astana.
