Chinese company Junxin Environment Protection will build a large waste incineration plant in Bishkek, KABAR reports citing the capital’s mayor’s office.
The company initiated to build a waste incineration plant in the capital as an investor.
Currently, a feasibility study of the project is being developed, as well as design and estimate documentation for the construction of a plant for recycling solid household waste in Bishkek. The capsule is planned to be laid in early spring of this year. The construction process will take about a year and a half, the report said.
In November 2023, Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev and General Director of the Junxin Dai Daoguo company signed a framework agreement on cooperation on a facility for the production of electricity based on waste incineration.
The Junxin Dai Daoguo company is a national high-tech enterprise in China that is engaged in the disposal of municipal solid waste, the treatment of municipal wastewater sludge, landfill leachate, fly ash and other waste. The plant meets international standards.
