Chinese Chamber of Tourism ready to promote Expo-2017 in China
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Agreements on attracting visitors to Expo-2017 were concluded during the Global Economic Forum on Tourism in Macau, according to the website of "Astana Expo-2017 NC".
Chinese Chamber of Tourism and the China Travel Service (HK) Ltd are ready to organize the promotion and popularization of Expo-2017 on the territory of their country. Chinese Chamber of Tourism is one of the leading organizations in the tourism industry. China Travel Service (HK) Ltd is a tourism company. It was founded in 1928 and today has more than 100 offices across China and 20 offices in 16 countries worldwide. The company's headquarters is in Hong Kong. The participants of the event and representatives of more than 80 tour operators of Macau and Hong Kong had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the tourist products of Kazakhstan. During the forum, the Kazakh delegation held several meetings with the leadership of Macau Government Tourist Office, Chamber of Tourism of China, Chinese Association for attracting tourists, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), as well as reps of major Chinese tourist businesses. Following the negotiations the parties have signed memoranda of bilateral cooperation.
