Chinese airline launches regular flights to Kazakhstan
China Southern Airlines plans to launch regular passenger flights en Almaty-Beijing route beginning from December 25, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
The fleet of the Chinese airline has more than 650 aircraft (А319/320/321/330/350, Б737/777/787, ARJ21, C919). It operates flights to more than 230 cities in China and around the world. The flights will be performed from the Beijing Daxing International Airport three times per week (on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) by Airbus-А320, a statement from the Civil Aviation Committee reads.
Beijing Daxing International Airport is one of the world’s largest airports. In 2022, the airport handled 45 million passengers, which is set to be increased to 72 million and then 100 million per annum.
