China to participate in setting up industrial park in Kazakhstan
ASTANA. KAZINFORM China will take part in the development of an industrial park in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Kazakh Industry and New Technologies Ministry said.
Kazakhstan and China agreed on the establishment of an industrial park in the Almaty region as a result of the working trip of acting Deputy Prime Minister - Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev to China. The Kazakh minister met with representatives of China's AVIC, SinoAgri, CITICGroup, CNPC companies to debate foundation of joint enterprises in the fields of production of potash fertilizers, complex coal conversion, oil and gas equipment, agro-industrial complex and cooperation with financial institutions. Besides, he met with a numbre of state officials to discuss promoting of trade and economic cooperation. Attention was paid to the issues concerning Kazakhstan's exports and achieving the goals set by the presidents to bring the sales between the two nations to USD 40 bln by 2016. The sides focused on creation of more favorable conditions to export phosphorous fertilizers, lead accumulators, farm and other products.
