China's XUAR vows to widen cooperation with E Kazakhstan
UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM "The Silk Road project started last December is the first and important step forward to furthering mutual cooperation of our near-border regions," 1st secretary of the Communist Party of Tarbagatai district of the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of China Zhang Bo said addressing the official delegation of the East Kazakhstan region visiting the city of Chuguchak.
The Kazakh delegation, led by deputy governor of the region Nurlybek Sherubayev, arrived there within celebrations of Nauryz Meiramy as part of the Culture Days of the East Kazakhstan region. The parties debated further strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of tourism, agriculture and energy. "Since the beginning of realization of the project the country's import grew by 230 times. Consequently, budget revenues increased, mutual cooperation gains momentum ad friendly relations benefit both countries. We vow to continue our collaboration and widen our interaction," Mr Zhang Bo said.
