China's share in Kazakhstan's oil production to reduce to 7-8%

ASTANA. September 26. KAZINFORM - In the future China's share in Kazakhstan's oil production will decrease to 7-8%. This has been reported today by the Minister of Oil and Gas Uzakbai Karabalin during the plenary session of the Senate, answering the questions of MPs.

According to him today's China's share in the production of oil is 24%, but mostly Chinese companies are on deposits in the Kyzyl-Orda and Atyrau oblasts, where year-on-year oil production decreases. Therefore, China's share in the future will be reduced to 7-8%.

At present in the first place by the level of investment in this area is the U.S. - 25%.
