China ranks second in number of Kazakh students

BEIJING. KAZINFORM "China ranks second in the number of Kazakhstani students studying there," Kazakh Ambassador to China Nurlan Yermekbayev told a meeting in Beijing.
"Above 50,000 Kazakhstani students are known to receive now education abroad. Almost 11,200 of them study in China. Russia ranks first as 28,000 Kazakh students attending its universities," he added. As stated there, about 4,000 Kazakhstanis study in the UK, 1,000 in the US, about 2,000 in Malaysia, 715 in the UAE, 783 in Turkey and 300 in Poland. "Above 2,000 citizens of Kazakhstan have graduated from the Chinese higher educational establishments for the past 10 years," he stressed.
