Chaos as 60 forced to evacuate over heavy fire in Aktau residential complex

ASTANA. September 16. KAZINFORM A fire broke out at one of the apartments in a 10-story residential complex in Aktau on Sunday, according to the Ministry for Emergency Situations.
The fire soon spread to four adjacent dwellings, forcing 60 people to evacuate.
The Mangystau regional emergency department firefighters spent a lot of time extinguishing the blaze. As a result, two apartments were completely destroyed, four more - damaged by fire. 19 people, including one child, were saved. A 68-year-old lady's body was found in the debris of one of the apartments.
