Chairman of Supreme Court met with Rector of Russian Academy of Justice

The agenda of the meeting included discussion of the issues of regulatory and individual court control, upgrading qualification of the judges and court workers and development of the strategy of court education. V. Yershov will also visit Kazakhstan Institute of Justice of the Public Administration Academy under the President of Kazakhstan where he will give a lecture on ?Direct enforcement of the Constitution of the Russian Federation?. The guest will also take part in a roundtable together with district-judges for clarification of theoretical and practical aspects of enforcement of the Russian civil and labor law. The program of the visit also provides for familiarization with the work of Astana city court. Russian and Kazakh communities of judges often solve similar problems both in court reforming and development of educational programs. Therefore exchange of experience in most urgent issues of justice and court education between Kazakhstan and Russia is quite fruitful and brings positive results.
