Chairman of Customs Control Committee proposes public scrutiny on customs bodies

ASTANA. February 13. KAZINFORM Chairman of the Customs Control Committee of Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance Mazhit Yessenbayev has proposed to establish a public commission for control over customs bodies.
According to him, the public commission is necessary for eliminating corruption from the customs. The commission would attract attention to the problems of consumers, influence the simplification and transparency of customs procedures and controls.
Such public scrutiny could be organized under the auspices of Nur Otan People's Democratic Party, Yessenbayev added.
