Center for rehabilitation of children with disabilities opened in Shymkent

Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Gulshara Abdykalykova took part in the opening ceremony. The center was opened within the government order of the regional employment and social programs department in the nongovernmental sector.

The main purpose of the project is provision of social services for children with disabilities and psychoneurological pathology in day habilitation or home care. Besides, the center offers assistance in getting allowances and benefits, provided by law. The specialists of the center will render social and psychological assistance to families of children with socially significant diseases.       

The center has modern material and technical base, all necessary conditions for social-psychological and medical rehabilitation of people with disabilities.  Rendering assistance to 200 children with disabilities is scheduled by the end of the year.
