Celebration of 65th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War should be held at high level
ASTANA. February 17. KAZINFORM /Rassul Bakhamov/ Celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War should be held at a high level. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced it at the Security Council's session on Wednesday, February 17.
The President emphasized that celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory is one of the brightest pages of the history of Kazakhstan.
He noted that special attention should be paid to the war veterans, their widows, and workers on the home front.
"We planned some measures on supporting veterans and citizens equivalent to them. And today we will discuss these issues at the session", Nursultan Nazarbayev said opening the event.
As is known, the Head of the state talked about the measures on full support of the veterans in his Message to the Nation.
This issue was included in the agenda of the Security Council's session within the framework of an action plan on preparation and celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
