CEC registered 5 presidential candidates

ASTANA. February 14. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Central Election Commission has registered 5 presidential candidates to date. Two of them have already set to gathering the signatures.
Four candidates are self-nominated. These are Salim Oten, Mussagali Duambekov, Amantay-kazhy Assylbek and Kanat Yeszhanov. Incumbent President of the country Nursultan Nazarbayev was nominated by Nur Otan Party.
Chairman of Tabigat Ecologocal Union Mels Eleusizov is also expected to participate in the forthcoming election.
Earlier, on Saturday, Azat Party announced nomination of its candidate Bulat Abilov. However, it is still unknown whether he is going to run for the president's office, because he hasn't confirmed his participation in the election yet.
