CEC not to register Tolybay Baymurzin as presidential candidate

ASTANA. February 19. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan made a decision not to register Tolybay Baymurzin as a candidate for the president of the country who made 50 mistakes in a Kazakh language test that was held yesterday.
"According to the draft resolution, candidate Tolybay Baimurzin does not meet the requirements of the Constitution and Law of Kazakhstan 'On elections in Kazakhstan," the CEC Secretary said.
T. Baimurzin failed to pass the language test yesterday.
