Caspian shelf gas reserves exceed 6-7 trl cu m

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "Geological gas resources on the Caspian shelf exceed 6-7 trillion cubic meters," Oil and Gas Minister of Kazakhstan Uzakbai Karabalin said at today's Government meeting in Astana. "Currently, recoverable gas reserves reach 3.8 trillion cubic meters," he added.
As stated there, Kashagan, Karachaganak and Tengiz resources amount to 75% of all reserves of Kazakhstan.
