Cash collectors in Krasnoyarsk territory robbed of RUR 6 mln

"The crime was committed in the Berezovsky district on Monday evening. The car abandoned by the robbers has already been found. However, neither people nor money were found in it," the source said.

The investigation department in the Berezovsky district police department carried out an inquiry prior to the investigation, prosecutor from the territorial prosecutor's office Tatiana Shcheglova told Itar-Tass. Territorial detectives are investigating the crime.

This is not the first attack on cash collectors in Russia this summer. Two Voronezh cash collectors were robbed of about 1.5 million roubles in early June.

"Six suspects were found in the investigation. They are a police patrolman in the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow Alexander Borisov, cash collectors from the non-banking credit organization Inkakhran Sergei Levkin and Maxim Podgornykh, as well as unemployed citizens Alexander Mikhailov, Alexander Strekalov and Sergei Vorotov," spokesman from the Prosecutor General's Office Investigation Committee (SKP) Vladimir Markin said earlier.
